Innifree , Etude House and Skin Food are three South Korean brands of skincare products that are world widely used but nowhere to be found in Algeria. Ever wondered how come those Asian and especially Korean actors and actresses have such flawless skin? , well the answer is very simple , they take care of it ! >.<
If you’re a K-pop or a Korean drama fan then you know what I’m talking about, Koreans are obsessed with their skin, women and men.
It appears that a glowing skin was always considered as a sign of a comfortable life, it implied that the person is rich, of high rank in society and must be respected, so people tried their best to avoid acne breakouts, wrinkles, sagging, dark circles and frown lines.
Nowadays skin care tips are integrating common knowledge and that is a good thing, everybody knows the anti-aging benefit of exfoliating, moisturizing, cleaning routines, and the health facts that lead directly to the skin, dieting, food that boost collagen production, the importance of exercising, so on and so forth.
The Korean principle is “less make-up more skin care” to achieve a natural but stunning look, while a lot is being said about their other obsession “plastic surgery” which is a another interesting topic, it is undeniable that some companies succeed in making their products very appealing by emphasizing the fact that they use purely natural sources and ingredients, they promise a healthier look and everyone in South Korea and in the world seems satisfied with the outcome.
Sure, staying out of the sun helps, wearing sunscreen, knowing your skin type, getting facials now and then, natural masks, maybe doing some yoga, eating healthy, not wearing tons of makeup or at least choosing the right products ..but what I’d like to know is why is it completely impossible to find one of these outstanding creams anywhere in Algeria or north Africa for that matter, we are deprived of trying out so many delights that nature has to offer for the well being of skin. So until a SkinFood shop opens nearby, I can only imagine how it feels to apply a black garlic cream ^^

Hi Meyssoune, sorry for the late reply, I deserted the blog for so long and just been so busy, yeah you’re right we really do, luckily for me, I am in London at the moment so it’s easy to order them online and they’re also cheap but I feel for you, I wanted to get my hands on them for so many years, something that can probably replace them is if we use natural ingredients at home and make our own skinfood 😉
